A Strava club is a home for your runners on Strava: posts, a leaderboard, group events and RSVPs. Conpeo is built for the format itself: check-in at your door, regulars by name, and perks for them.
Short answer. Keep your Strava club for the run, the route and the feed. Add Conpeo when the run starts at your door and you want to know and thank the people who keep coming.

Key differences
The activity versus the visit
Strava records the activity: a run or ride, from a phone or a GPS device. Its Club Event Insights count the people at an event who recorded it on Strava. Strava says the count is "currently only available for run events" and uses "GPS-recorded activities on Strava that match the event details."
Conpeo counts the visit. A check-in at the door works whether or not anyone records the run, and for the coffee after it.
A leaderboard versus regulars
A Strava club ranks members on a weekly leaderboard that resets every Sunday. Event Insights compare each event with the one before, for the 5 most recent club events.
Conpeo builds status over time. A guest earns regular status visit by visit, and Conpeo shows who came every week and then stopped.
Challenges versus a perk at the counter
Strava's offer to brands centres on Sponsored Challenges, Segments and in-feed promotions. In a Sponsored Challenge, athletes reach an activity goal and claim a reward, in most cases a discount, coupon or prize, on the brand's site.
Conpeo thanks the regular in person, with a perk collected at your counter. If you sell on Shopify, it issues one single-use code per guest. When a code is used, Shopify reports back the order and what it was worth.
Pricing
Strava. Starting a club is free, and so is recording and sharing activities. Members can subscribe to Strava; in the US that costs $11.99 a month or $79.99 a year, and Strava sets prices per country. For brands, Strava says Sponsored Challenges and Segments "typically start at $30,000-$50,000."
Conpeo. Room costs €99 a month, or €990 a year paid up front, both plus VAT. Every format is included. The Shopify add-on costs €399 a month, plus a share of the value of orders placed with its codes.
Choose Strava clubs if
- Your community is built around the run itself: the recorded activity, routes and pace groups.
- You want reach. Strava reports over 195 million athletes in more than 185 countries.
- You want a free club page with posts, messages and a leaderboard.
- You have the budget for a Sponsored Challenge across Strava.
Choose Conpeo if
- Your run starts and ends at your shop or studio, every week.
- You want everyone counted at the door, recorded run or not.
- You want your regulars named, and to see who stopped coming.
- You thank regulars with a perk in person, or a code in your Shopify shop.
- You want consent that names your brand, per community, withdrawable at any time.
Can you use both?
Yes. Conpeo does not replace Strava. Members keep recording on Strava; Conpeo runs the door and the regulars.
